Job Responsibilities:
Ensures the technical delivery of internal projects from initiation through completion.
Leads or coordinates engineering teams, requirements capture, system architecture and designs, customer delivery milestones, quality and safety requirements, and engineering design changes.
Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, schedule and cost. Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
Main point of contact for the customer and has the technical decision authority for the project
Creating and executing project engineering work plans, understanding customer requirements and specification
Managing resources in conjunction with horizontal managers, manufacturing and other stakeholders
Helping resolve day-to-day engineering operational aspects of project and scope
Effectively managing project risk through mitigation planning
Supporting Project team in their monitoring and reports of, timing, income, expense and resource management
Ensuring all project technical documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Lead Gate reviews, CCB and manage key activities related to changes and problems (at both project and SW level):
o Progress updates / impediments / escalations (ensure the team are working according to plan / customer expectations)
o Post implementation review
Consistently acknowledge and appreciate each team members contributions
Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential
Motivates the entire Project team to work together in the most efficient manner
Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members and other project teams
Mitigate team conflict and communication problems
Teach (based on experience) the team and functional managers to ensure that relevant communication with the customer is done in a timely and appropriate manner

Critical experiences required to be ready for this job:
o Hands-on experience with managing people and leading execution of programs.
o 5+ years of battery management system experience
o Hardware, Software engineering process knowledge
o Intimacy with specific customer
o Manufacturing process knowledge
o Master s Degree or equivalent in Electronics, Software or equivalent engineering
