Senior Software QA Engineer - Gurgaon @ Keysight Technologies

Designs, develops and executes tests for software products. Designs and develops unit tests, functional tests and black box testing for software products and related hardware systems under development. Responsible for defect submission, tracking, resolution and reporting. Responsible for coordination of software and hardware related to the software products capabilities.

May be responsible for development of test platforms, test automation, configuration management systems, defect tracking and reporting systems. Must have working knowledge of modern software development and testing practices.

• Determines and develops approaches to assignments

• Solves complex problems using indepth experience

• The successful candidate would need to participate in daily scrum calls. She / He should:

• Design/Develop test scripts (manual and automated) for the applications assigned for testing.

• Be able to understand the techno - functional requirement and design test scenarios / test cases around it.

• Work with product owners to ensure test environments and test data are in the state required for testing.

• Be able to perform detailed functional as well as regression testing.

• Be responsible to handle multiple projects at the same time.

• Lead complete STLC process with deliverable on time and excellent quality.

• Quick learner, self-starter, be proactive and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Able to work independently and with the team to deliver test plans and test cases successfully.

• Communicate testing progress, results, and other relevant information to project team and other stakeholders based on test plans
