Summary:
Global Content Operations, The area of IHS Markit responsible for the ongoing software development of data ingestion systems primarily in North America. Drawing on a global network of software development experts this exciting area is rapidly expanding to meet the needs of our complex and sophisticated product line.
We are currently looking for a Scrum Master to be part of multiple high-profile Energy Scrum team to develop and deliver software products for the accumulation of energy related information. Team is responsible for delivering timely, high quality software products within agreed timeframes that delight our customers in the Upstream Oil & Gas sector. This position responsible for managing multiple Scrum teams of appropriate scrum team . We are looking for pragmatic advocate of Scrum Framework and Agile culture who can effectively coordinate with Products, Developers, QAs, UAT teams to deliver as per defined guidelines sprint-on-sprint basis.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• 
  Strong familiarity with agile principles, values, and practices.
• 
  Planning with Product Owners to prioritize Stories in Backlog.
• 
  Hosts Daily Scrum meetings, Backlog Refinement discussions, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Demos & Retrospective discussions.
• 
  Highlight impediments in RAID log & workout ways to ensure sprint deliverables are on track.
• 
  Coach team members in Agile Frameworks & achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity.
• 
  Facilitate right level of communication, collaboration & information exchange between external groups & project teams to have timely feedbacks and drive culture of agility and learning.
• 
  Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• 
  Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques to fully realize the potential of Agile/Scrum frameworks (example: Burndown techniques, End of Sprint report metrices, Retrospective formats, Handling Bugs, etc.)
• 
  Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills, Self-motivation and ability to stay focused on middle of distraction.
• 
  Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• 
  Good knowledge of other Agile Frameworks e.g. Kanban, Crystal, XP etc.
• 
  Flexibility to respond on change.
• 
  Work closely with customer stakeholders to ensure we're adding value for our users.
• 
  Have an ability to think practically while assessing the circumstances and make the best decision based on the facts.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• 
  First level Scrum master certification (CSM, PSM 1) is mandatory.
• 
  4 - 8 years of Industry experience in a Software Development organization, of which 1-2 year must be Full time Scrum Master.
• 
  Background in Development/QA with relevant Scrum master experience can also apply
• 
  Team management experience is nice to have.
