Desired Candidate Profile

Strong communication in English is an essential requirement for these positions.
1. Should able to use all the web methods like GET, POST, DELETE, etc
2.Validate the response, response time, error code
3.Able to validate the XML and JSON body by using JSON parsers
4.Able to read and understand the API documentation
5.Able to derive a good number of test cases and scenarios.
6.Should be good in SQL queries to validate API and DB data elements
7.Good experience in API testing using Restful services & Rest Assured services

Required Candidate profile

Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree or better in CS or related field, with 4+ years experience in software test development & Must have a passion for quality
Exposure to best practices in SQA and software development, including code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting and CI process
Excellent communications and technical presentation skills
Knowledge of current build and test automation tools and processes, such as JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Git, etc
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills
Experience in negative testing, breaking the system.
Fundamental knowledge SQL, relational Database, DBMS
Experience with highly scalable, distributed and high-performance platforms and web services
Is competent in concepts of Quality Assurance and software development, including Agile/Scrum, TDD and BDD
Good understanding of Performance, Security, Accessibility and Cross-Browser Testing
Shows good initiative in seeking out opportunities to identify and deal with issues in both the systems they own as well as the systems other people own
