Data is the new currency of the digital world, and Microsoft is uniquely positioned to help businesses and consumers get the most out of their data assets. Microsoft cloud offers world-leading services for operational databases, from the Azure SQL family (both IaaS and PaaS) to multi-modal Cosmos DB to open-source based services (Azure DBs for MySQL, PostgreSQL and MariaDB). Customers are massively modernizing their on-premise database applications by migrating them to these cloud services. Would you like to be part of the team to enable our customers and partners on this journey
We are the Database Modernization team in Microsoft's Azure Data division, and we're on a mission to provide an easy migration experience for any database application, running in any environment, to Microsoft Azure cloud. We develop services and tools for every segment of the customer's migration journey: from discovery and assessment of the entire data estate to building migration proposal, to automated data movement and switching over the workload. And we do this across the workloads customers may be running (Microsoft's products, open-source products, other proprietary database products).
As a program manager in Azure Data Migration team, the candidate will engage deeply with customers and partners, and help them unblock migration to Azure Data offering. As part of our product development cycle, the candidate will participate in researching user's needs and application patterns, visioning and designing new software products, developing and previewing products with users, and evangelizing our products to the world. The candidate will also interact with other teams and services providing related capabilities such as other Azure Data services, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, or Azure Machine Learning Services to name a few.
We strive to build lasting relationships, and we make each other better by supporting, mentoring, and empathizing. We value variety in perspectives and backgrounds and work together to create an inclusive environment that allows everybody to do their best work.
If you want to be challenged, enjoy working with customers, and thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment, come join us in the Azure Data India team!
