Senior Software Engineer - Noida - Microsoft

Responsibilities

• Deliver web experiences that are highly crafted and rewarding to the Flipgrid educator community by coordinating and developing back-and-front end solutions.
• Collaborate with web, design, and API teams to ensure the goals of the product are aligned with the delivered feature or service.
• Deliver experiences that are user-focused and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Work with the product development team in driving innovative approaches to solving complex problems.
• Maintain code standards regarding quality, privacy, accessibility, security, documentation, etc.

• A strong working knowledge of building and interfacing with REST APIs.
• 7+ years of Ruby or Rails experience with an emphasis on building, maintaining, and testing large-scale applications.
• 5+ years of experience delivering solutions leveraging Relational Databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• 5+ years of front-end web development experience (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Usability Testing).
• Experience using a modern Javascript Framework (React, Vue, Angular).
• 5+ years developing features and experiences for large-scale, cross-browser applications across both mobile and desktop.
• Demonstrated ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize for high performance user experiences.
• 5+ years guiding and mentoring a team of mobile engineers.
• Experience developing features and experiences for large-scale, customer facing applications across both mobile and desktop
