Job Description
- You will participate in the development of larger modules which may also include requirements analysis, architectural design, or detailed design tasks.
- You will operate independently to contribute to the development of new approaches and techniques.
- You will participate in short term planning of engineering projects and programs.
- You will execute development tasks on projects and will test to guarantee the technical quality of the solution and handle security vulnerabilities.
- You will gather and analyze customer requirements.
- You will be responsible for the analysis and determination of overall software design tradeoffs on a project.
- You will be responsible for conducting, leading, and coordinating software development activities.
- You will define and ensure the best solutions architecture and design in working with the development team and project manager.
- You will streamline integration across projects, including task definitions, decomposition, and planning to ensure alignment of Thales best practices.
- Contribute innovative ideas for technical improvements and business opportunities.
- Be updated with industry trends, IT ops, and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science or related discipline
- 2-15 years of experience in software development.
- Strong . NET design development hands-on experience using - Microsoft latest technology stack (.net core, MVC, C#, web-forms, API s, etc ) and going to be responsible for analysis, design, development, maintenance, and support for various client-server web applications
- Knowledge of Microservices, Dockers, Containers with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or any other cloud platform
- You must have a solid understanding of .Net framework internals.
- Understanding and experience with relational databases and other components for full solution development such as infrastructure and middleware components.
- AWS/Azure/GCP services experience.
- It would be preferred if you have: experience with JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS 3, Node JS, Express, SCSS.
- Understanding of database fundamentals, working experience on PostgreSQL will be an added advantage
- Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc
