Roles and Responsibilities

Warm Greetings!
We are looking for Head - Power Electronics & Controls (Advanced Engineering) for a reputed Automotive OEM based in Chennai.

Experience:

Preferably 15+ yrs. Should have developed power electronics and mixed signal systems with deep knowledge in hardware, software, thermals and testing. Experience in manufacturing and commercialization of electronics.

Skill set:

Deep expertise in at least one of the following and exposure to the others:

- Drive train, engines, materials, mechanical engineering, electronics, data sciences

Job description:

- Set the roadmap for electronics development in PD in line with the Organisation roadmap, Identify and implement electronics of strategic importance to the Organisation, work with suppliers and academia on electronics activity where joint development or outsourced development is possible.

- Build in-house infrastructure for electronics labs, test equipment, hardware-in-loop and software-in-loop testing.

- Build and grow electronics team in our Organisation. Work with business units and commercialization partner to transition and commercialize developed systems.

- Work with teams across the Organisation to test and productionize electronic systems in vehicles.

Educational Qualifications: PhD/ MTech in power electronics
