Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for developing a plan to achieve sales targets.
2, Responsible for carrying out prospective calls and identifying new customers by leveraging self and inhouse networks.
3. Responsible for establishing and managing relations with old as well new customers in need of the firm's freight services
4. Prompt response to queries or questions, offering advice, and promoting the products of the organization.
5. Take ownership of customer issues and follow through till resolution/ closure of billing and payment receipt
6. Represent the firm in negotiating and building relationships with shippers and carriers.
7. Involve in RFQ and tenders along with your team members.
8, Interact with product manager and Sales Manager for Monthly business Reports and Quarterly Business Reviews.
9. Effectively interacts with other departments including, the account management operation & logistic team.
10, Study the market, but not limit competitors, carriers, manufacturers to be updated on market trends, fluctuation, and change
11. Timely submission of your DSR/MSR/QSR with analysis to your superior.
Skills & Requirements:
Preferably degree/diploma in any logistics field with 2 years sales experience in F & F
Or
Graduate with 3 to 4 years of experience in logistic and freight forwarding industry with exposure to sales and Sales role
Good understanding of logistic market sales concepts.
Good proven sales success and in-depth knowledge of logistic products and services.
Great interpersonal skills and communication skills.
A multi-tasker with time management skills
Should be absolutely a team player.
