Job Description

Job Responsibilities Technical Responsible for performing design and development of mechanical components and assemblies Hands on experience to take design from concepts thru detailed drawing, parts procurement, DFM interaction with suppliers, assembly, test, build verification with deeper understanding of issues faced, lessons learned and closure. Create electromechanical layouts, packaging, fixtures, tooling, and mechanisms. Works with technology development, product engineering, suppliers, manufacturing and quality group to define specifications and complete the full design cycle. Creates documentation and conducts design reviews in support of design efforts Collaborates with designers/drafters to generate medium complexity design documentation Responsible for doing basic mechanical engineering design calculations involving Structural & Thermal analysis Validates designs through prototype/computational modeling to support engineering decisions Provides resolution to medium complex problems Conducts guided brainstorming sessions and publishes clear notes Active participation in idea generation for product needs.
