What you'll achieve
Dell is hiring an Engineering Program Manager at the Consultant level in India to work on Unstructured & Secondary Storage (USS) programs. In this highly visible role, you will program manage strategic new engineering programs as well as in-flight engineering projects, and help advance org-wide processes that support these efforts. This position will work collaboratively with engineering teams located in the US, India and across the world, enabling successful, on-time delivery of programs.
This desired candidate will be detail and task-oriented while at the same time being capable of understanding and advancing broader strategic themes.
You will:

• Engage and influence global engineering teams as they collaborate and develop innovative software products
• Present to, communicate with, and influence LOB business leaders.
• Lead multiple high visibility programs with a high degree of complexity, unknowns and/or business impact.
• Bring Agile thinking and processes to architectural and proof of concept projects
• Work to improve complex process initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• 12+ years of software development and consulting experience
• Experience in data storage and/or data management technologies highly desirable
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and develop partnerships outside of the organizatio
• Possess a high degree of technical savvy, with a keen ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Sc**m@Sc**e) practices
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including understanding of technical requirements
• Agility to adapt to technologies and processes quickly

Desirable Requirements

• Comfortable and confident when dealing with early phase projects with many unknowns and an uncertain path forward
• Proven track record of leading transformation with wide cross-functional impact
• Experience interfacing with senior leadership
• Master's degree
• One or more agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSP, CSC, Scrum.org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP)
