Desired Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will closely work with Automotive Software Engineering team to test & validate various product releases ranging from the proof of concept, evaluation products to Go-to-market product releases.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with Software Engineers to test and validate various product releases.

Hands-on debug of new products to quickly evaluate functionality and identify bugs, issue reporting, logging and engineering release management process, test report generation.

Develop methodologies to automate the tests, evaluate and characterize the solutions; establish quick setup mechanisms and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

B.E/B.Tech with Electrical, Electronics & Communications, and 3 - 5 years hands-on work experience in embedded software testing.

Must have worked on the automotive domain.

Knowledge of embedded systems programming in C, .Net C#

Knowledge of interfacing embedded platforms to the PC over GPIB, UART, USB, SPI, Ethernet et al.

Programming experience with scripting languages like Python, C# to build Test & Measurement Automation suites is an added advantage.

Must be self-driven, with strong desire to learn new technologies and adapt.

Knowledge of SDLC, Test Frameworks Robot/White Stack/REST API and Jenkins CI configuration.

Good communication skills (oral & written skills) along with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
