Job Description
Designation : GM- OperationsEducation: BE in Mechanical OR Production
Preferable with MBA in supply chain
Location: Andheri ( E)
Experience: Total 20 years in production, Purchase, Vendor development and with minimum 5 years experience at senior level for supply chain including client facing, complaints, requirements.
Reportees: All departments like production,purchase,quality,supply chain etc. except finance
Reporting to: Partners
Key Role:
This position will be next to Partner position and it is a very senior roll involving day to day management of operations, strategy, preparation of process manual and implementation of the same, optimizing resources, developing, reporting systems, in short implementing professional management and latest techniques.
He also has to make the organisation ready for fast growth in terms of new projects, market ,products etc.
Job Responsibilities:
Creating & implementing process for efficient working of supply chain.
Help improving and upgrading exisiting suppliers
Identifying and establising new suppliers
Improving the productivity , efficiency in production and cost efficency
Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
Evaluate employee performance and provide additional coaching and support as needed
Assess departmental and company performance and devise plans for improvement
Identify the grey areas, suggest and implement improvments
Identify key areas for growth/expansion and help in implementing the same
By carrying our regular audits, studing MIS reports
Will have to travel to factories and warehouses;
