Job description
Role Description:
- QA engineering role plays an important part in our companys product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.
- QA engineer along with lead defines testing strategies to ensure the product being released is up to industry and company standards. QA leads create testing plans, including individual testing phases, and ensure the team meets the deadlines set forth in those plans. In order to maintain deadlines, QA leads also evaluate the team throughout the life of the project to identify areas where improvement can be made.
Role and responsibilities
- At the outset of the project, test leaders, in collaboration with the other stakeholders, devise the test objectives, organizational test policies, test strategies and test plans.
- They estimate the testing to be done and negotiate with client to acquire the necessary resources.
- Write new automation or update existing framework to ensure quality of development activities.
- Document and update procedures and processes as necessary.
Technical skills requirements
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in:
- Generate / Write / Automate test cases
- Python
- Automation testing using Selenium with Python for Web/UI testing
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Dockers
- Bug-tracking tool like JIRA, TestLink
- Experience in Agile like Scrum
Nice-to-have skills
- Typescript, Javascript
- Shell scripting
- API testing
- Java
- Non-functional: Performance, Security testing
- Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
- Self-motivated and self-driven to work against tight timelines
- Team player & have the ability to multi-task based on project needs.

- Proven high-performer and team-player with the ability to take the lead on projects.
