Software Engineer

Experience:2 yrs plus years

Location: Mumbai/Pune

Salary Budget 15 LPA to 18 LPA

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and support scalable and functionally resilient public REST APIs
• Support and help cultivate product mindset culture, by working directly with business and product management to understand customer needs, perform customer requirement analysis, and collaborate on roadmap planning and its execution
• Advocate for best practice development methodologies across the entire team and help iterate on software development processes and standards
• Contribute to the development of test automation
• Demonstrate flexibility and leadership in a fast-paced start-up environment while remaining focused on the responsibility of creating sustainable and scalable platform code base

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ year working with JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js
• Commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Demonstrated web performance profiling, troubleshooting and optimization experience
• Familiarity with web performance best practices
• Proactiveness, good communication and fast learning
• Knowledge of the Git version control system

• Experienced implementing unit tests in JavaScript (Karma, Jasmine, Jest, Mocha etc)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development
• Natural ability to process requirements, figure out multiple execution options, their complexities, and estimate the scope of work required to get tasks done
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to work across with geographic locations and across multiple time zones
• Bachelors in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Finally, and most importantly, drive, energy, and motivation to succeed with delivering great customer experiences

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters or higher degree
• Understanding and experience in large scale enterprise application
• Experience with Sprint Boot, Play Framework, Python frameworks such as Flask and Django
• Building GraphQL enabled web UI features
• Significant start-up experience
