Job Description
Senior Manager, Application Security
In the role, you are responsible for helping ensure security at the application layer for Genpact s application and platforms, including mobile apps and cloud-based applications / platformsResponsibilities
- Liaison with the application development team to integrate application security scanning tool into the development pipeline.
- Understand the application development process of various product teams in Genpact and plan a strategy to streamline static application security testing.
- Work closely with application development teams to ensure integration of security testing tools and outline processes for defect tracking and remediation.
- Automate the application security testing process in the build pipelines and write scripts to automate some of the manual testing steps. Facilitate and support the preparation of security releases and build strong governance for defect tracking.
- Guide and advise product development teams as SMEs in the area of DevSecOps
- Perform granular code-level security reviews in consultation with development teams.
- Explain security risks and vulnerabilities in business terms to stakeholders at executive levels within Genpact as well as its clients.
- B. E / B.Tech (In any stream)/ MCA / MSc (CS/IT) or post-graduation in (CS/IT) / BSc (CS/IT)/ BCA
- Expertise in static and dynamic application security testing
- Security Qualifications Preferred: OSCP, CEH, CSSLP.
- Experience in coding as a software developer and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid technical knowledge of application security scanning tools required e.g., Fortify, Veracode, Rational AppScan, etc.
- Strong knowledge of application development process (including mobile) and security frameworks like OWASP and at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Scala, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, PowerShell).
- Extensive experience in secure code review, both manual and automated.
- Familiar with the concept of Agile software development and CI/CD pipeline integration of security testing.
- Familiarity with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws.
- Familiarity with cloud security controls and best practices.
