Storage Administrator @ Steria India

Job Description

• Extensive Dell EMC storage experience with SAN and NAS technologies/products including the following: VNX, XtremIO, VPlex, Recover Point, Isilon, Unity
• Good knowledge & experience of NetApp SAN & NAS technologies/products including FAS, AFF & E-Series storage
• Good knowledge & experience on fiber channel infrastructure and MDS switching products (MDS 9710 & 9706 & 9148 switch administration)
• Working knowledge of Brocade switch administration
• Experience on Archiving solutions like Storsimple Appliance 8600, Komprise, Azure File Sync
• Working knowledge of VMware-related storage practices
• Disaster Recovery and High Availability concepts and experience
• Experience on Veeam version 10
• Veeam scaleout repo
• Veeam VM level and agent level backups
• Exposure on performance and backup failure issues
• Administration of datadomain, Handling L2 task
• Knowlede on Datadomain CloudTier operation
• Basic knowledge of Operation Systems / databases / VMWare
• Undertanding on backup DR and clients DR solutions

Preferred:

• Understanding of Service Now, strong communication, collaboration and teamwork skills
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Good to have knowledge/experience on public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
• Good to have knowledge/experience on scripting/automation
• Good to have ITIL V3 and/or any storage certifications
