Job Description
- As a Technical Lead - Demandware, you will translate client requirements into technical designs, design schemas, implement Demandware extensions, design and create product catalog hierarchy and integrate with content management systems and search engines, un-locking the business value of Demandware.
- You will independently drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution.
- Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of Demandware.
- Design and Develop - features such as faceted navigation, customer account, shopping cart, product search, order management, promotions, social ecommerce, Integrations like Payment, Analytics, reviews, Taxetc.
- Able to analyze, debug/troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and Demandware implementation.
- Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for ecommerce solutions and articulate business need in terms of DW Business Manager Configuration.
- Provide inputs and direction to associates on the team for design and implementation.
Collaborate with your architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards
- Should lead 5 to 7 members and mentor the team members.
- Code reviews as per DW Standards and should contribute to improvise the standards.
- Write application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.
- Should be able to own end to end project technical delivery of 5 to 7 team projects
- Should take ownership in delivering the quality product not only for self but also for team
- Should be able to design solutions and document specification documents
- Ability to provide Estimates for a given Task / Module.
- Knowledge on controllers and SFRA is must
