Job Description
As a Lead Engineer, Cloud you will be responsible to build effectiveness, Productivity in the team by removing obstacles, collaborating building relationships within the team, across other functional teams and Vendors. This role reports to Senior Manager, Cloud Operations; 70% into technical (Scripting, Automation, Security services etc.,) and 30% into Team Management, Collaboration, overseeing day to day activities etc.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Participate and take a lead role in the planning, implementation, and growth of the infrastructure on AWS
Manage a continuous integration/continuous deployment methodology for the server-based technologies
Monitor standards/policy compliance by developing and executing governance processes and tools.
Work with the larger design team (DevOps, Security, Infra etc.,) to develop a Cloud Solution.
Managing 2 or more member team, DNS, TCP/IP
QualificationsTHE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:
Total of 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 4 years in Cloud.
4+ Years of experience with AWS Architecture with System Design and implementation for large global enterprises.
Implement and administer cloud solutions that ensure most sustainable, flexible and cost appropriate solutions technology platforms
Engage other teams from Security and other areas as appropriate during implementation and requirements gathering
Utilize agile practices to ensure consistent and transparent execution.
Maintain current understanding of AWS Cloud offering with abilities to implement relevant features.
Look for opportunities to optimize and enable consistent automated deployments.
Keep abreast of emerging technology/industry trends in cloud
Monitor standards/policy compliance by developing and executing governance processes and tools.
Model a culture that improves the organization's comfort with the speed of change, challenging assumptions, relentless pursuit of improvement - all with a high sense of personal accountability
Proven ability to manage complex processes and drive continuous process improvement
Self-starter, self-confident and assured in personal abilities
