Job Description
Job Overview -
Dear applicants, we are hiring for Research Associate which is an entry-level position in our Financial Intelligence team. The role will entail researching and pulling out relevant information from various publicly available sources like industry journals, company press releases, annual reports, various government regulatory filings, and various databases like Factiva, Nexis, etc.
Job Role -
- Collect, summarize, and synthesize business information related to the Private Equity and Venture Capital domain.
- The profiling work will include profiling funds, writing management profiles, creating and updating portfolios, etc.
- The role also requires tracking and analyzing various PE/VC-backed transactions, like Mergers, Acquisitions, Leverage Buyouts, Management Buyout, and Early and late-stage funding rounds.
Eligibility Criteria -
- Candidate should have pursued their academics or post-graduation in the field of finance, commerce, accounting or economics. Preferred qualifications B.com (Hons), B.sc (Economics), M.com, B.B.A, M.B.A (Finance Major), and M.sc (Economics)
- Should have a stronghold over domain knowledge related to Private Equity, Debt, Venture Capital, Mergers and Acquisitions, etc.
- Should have an excellent hold over English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Should be comfortable handling targets and delivering research tasks allocated within stringent TAT. Candidates who can join immediately should only apply

0-1 year of experience in research(Primary/Secondary) (Freshers are also eligible)
Working Days - 5 (Mon-Fri),(Temporarily 2 days work from office & 3 days work from home)
Shift Time - Day shift
Office Location - Millennium City 5th Floor, Tower 1 DN 62, Street Number 10, Sector V, Bidhannagar, Kolkata, West Bengal 700091
Compensation Offered -
Graduate Fresher - CTC 190000, Inhand - 12200 per month + Performance Bonus (after 3 months from joining) 60$ to 70$ monthly based on performance + Upon confirmation (Post 6 months) CTC gets revised to 230000, Inhand - 14900 per month + Performance Bonus 60$ to 70$ monthly based on performance
Graduate with minimum 1-year Finance / Accounts experience - CTC 215000, Inhand - 13700 + Performance Bonus (after 3 months from joining) 60$ to 70$ monthly based on performance + Upon confirmation (Post 6 months) CTC gets revised to 248000, Inhand - 17900 per month + Performance Bonus 60$ to 70$ monthly based on performance
Postgraduate Fresher - CTC 215000, Inhand - 13700 + Performance Bonus (after 3 months from joining) 60$ to 70$ monthly based on performance + Upon confirmation (Post 6 months) CTC gets revised to 248000, Inhand - 17900 per month + Performance Bonus 60$ to 70$ monthly based on performance
