Roles and Responsibilities

1. 2 to 6 years direct experience as a SQL Developer
2. Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
3. Coding complex queries logics Hands on experience on writing complex Procedures Functions
4. Knowledge of T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Data Modeling, Views and Functions.
5. SQL Server Performance Tuning
6. Reading query plans and using SQL profiler to identify DB performance bottlenecks and fix them
7. Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
8. Should have excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills
9. Maintain source code for database
10. Design & maintain the existing databases and ensure their stability, reliability, security and performance.
11. Perform day-to-day operations (includes monitoring and maintenance, problem investigation and resolution, backup creation and maintenance, database optimization and tuning, etc.).
12. Independently analyze and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
13. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues and document changes.
14. Evaluate business data and recommend appropriate analytic approaches/strategies to achieve stated objectives.
15. Assist in testing efforts for database use.
16. Demonstrated knowledge of large, relational databases and data structures.
