Job Description
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate implementation level estimates and deliver on them.
- Own areas of testing and work as an individual contributor to deliver tested components from UI, UX, API, Database and end to end functional as well as non-functional perspective
- Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test development, deployment and execution, test data preparation and reporting, etc.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with all project stakeholders, represent the team
- Ensure timely status on a day to day team activities
Competencies Skills:
- B.Tech. / MCA degree from a reputed university
- 5 to 8 years of QA experience
- Must be a self-learner who is eager to learn new technologies/ languages/ tools and use them as project demands
- Excellent in Functional testing aspects with a positive attitude
- Proficient at understanding, analyzing and decomposing requirements and building a testing strategy around them
- Proficient in writing good quality test cases and defect logging using any test management and defect tracking tool/s
- Having the experience to work as part of big integrated teams
- Experience in leading a team working on different projects
- Should have good experience working on various Test management and defect management tools
- Experience in doing the end to end testing including backend, databases, log debugging and not just UI testing
- Experience in API Testing using Rest assured Postman or SOAP UI is a must
- Should be well versed with Databases and functional testing concepts
- Knowledge of performance testing using JMETER, Neoload is a BIG PLUS.
- Act as a functional expert and able to suggest product managers about improvements.
- Having some experience in developing an application will be a plus
- Good experience in Selenium automation using Java will be a big plus
- Should have experience working in Agile as well as Waterfall models
- Should be conversant with framework design (Keyword-driven testing, data-driven testing, hybrid testing.)
- Should be well versed with testing methodologies and basics
- Interest and experience in automating smoke, acceptance, functional, regression test suites will be a plus
- Experience in Test Designing, Test cases, Test scripts Test Reporting
- Excellent communication skills
