Principal ML Engineer - Noida - Microsoft - 5

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, test, deploy, maintain and improve ML models/infrastructure and engineering services that uses these models.
• Design and develop highly scalable Big Data solutions and analytics experiences
• Design and develop real time data streaming solution and API on Azure
• Design and develop the Java, Python, C# libraries, packages and frameworks that support large, complex web applications.
• Lead cutting edge research of AIOps in Microsoft data science communities.

Qualifications

Required :

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related field.
• 10+ years of total experience with last 7+ years in Machine Learning domains
• The candidate must have a strong systems and software engineering background as well as familiarity with various aspects of ML System design management
• Experience with at least one of the cloud platform, including Azure (Preferred), AWS, GDP, and have developed data pipeline related services.
• Experience with database systems, including Relational Databased(e.g, SQL), and Graph Database (e.g, Neo4j, Cosmos DB), and data storage system, including Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
• Experience with cloud orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and containerized services
• Experience with one or more software programming languages including C, C++, C, Scala, proficiency in Python language.
• Experience with open-source tools like PyTorch, Tensorflow, Scikitlearn and Big data technologies like Hive, PySpark, Databricks etc.
• Familiarity with salient Machine Learning and Statistics concepts confidence intervals, model performance validation, ML model training, basic probability theory and linear algebra

Preferred :

• Master or Ph.D. s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related field.
• Knowledge of (with deep expertise in at-least one of) Classification, Prediction, Recommender Systems, Time Series Forecasting, Anomaly Detection, Optimization, Graph theories, NLP
• Knowledge of one of the Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, MXNet, TensorFlow, Keras)
• Experience of ensuring compliance of platform to regulators and having worked with auditors is a plus
• Prior experience in testing is a plus: Strong understanding of product requirements, technical solution plan and testing objectives.
• Review test coverage of new features and provide suggestions to improve their quality
• Experience designing GUIs is a plus
• Knowing R is a plus.
