Job Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing of the applications and deliver stable applications.
- Work in a fast-paced Scrum environment in a pod of 4-8 developers and designers.
- Code reviews, Unit, and UI test cases for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Component Design/Coding/Unit Testing/Debugging.
- Working on open-source tools like Android Studio, Kotlin, RXJava, RXKotlin, Coroutine, Flows, MVVM design, SQLite Room, Compose UI, Kotlin Multiplatform mobile.
- 2-4 years of experience in developing applications for Android Devices.
- Able to work independently as well as guide/mentor other developers, good communication skills, and has experience in working on complex and medium to large projects.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Experience with common Android libraries like Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso, RxJava, Gson, Coroutines, Arch components, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Exposure to Functional and non-functional testing of applications.
- Experience in secure application development with databases.
- Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Compose UI will be a plus.
