Position: Shift Engineer /Sr.Engineer Operation
Department: Operation

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Branch
Experience: 2 to 6 years experience of WtE / thermal power plant operation having capacity of 10 MW to 50 MW.
Age: <30 years
Reporting to: Head Operation

Job Description:
Operation of Power Plant & its accessories with good Engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Superior knowledge of the operating principles of equipment and machinery used in the power plant.
- knowledge of the DCS / field operation of Boiler, TG, Flue gas cleaning system, Fans, Pumps & all other equipment of power plant.
- Supervise all aspects of the WtE plant operations during assigned shift and effectively provide direction to lower level plant operators.
- Ensure plant is operated in a safe, efficient, and economical manner, and in compliance with SOPs.
- Ensure reliable operational records are maintained and recorded for historical purposes and to document performance metrics for the plant.
- Participate in annual budget preparation and development of capital improvement projects with the maintenance team and operation Manager.
- Perform and evaluate water analysis tests and the proper treatment of boiler water.
- Properly operate all equipment and machinery used in the Plant.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and supervisors.
- Must be able to analyze plant operations and offer suggestions to improve operational efficiency.
- Must ensure plant and equipment is maintained in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and comply with directives.
- Available to work shift or weekends as part of a normal rotation.
- Candidates having Hands on experience for Waste to Energy plant will be preferred.
Must have Knowledge of:
- Extensive knowledge of the WtE Plant / thermal power plant and all associated systems.
- Knowledge of Electrical & Pneumatic controls, Logic & Interlocking and automatic controls of Power Plant.
