CAD Conversion and Prep Artist - - More @ more retail

The role demands the use of industry standard 3D software to convert and prep customer CAD data to deliver fully configurable digital models suitable for marketing content visualisation use cases. Knowledge of Rhino3D / Deltagen / 3DS MAX / Maya is essential.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

• Project collaboration with global teams, with a focus on asset creation and implementation.
• Brand custodianship.
• Ensure quality and consistency of creative output to the highest standards.
• Working with Project Manager and aim to achieve daily/weekly milestones.
• Troubleshooting.
• Train and support new members to the team as the department grows.
• Support all data prep projects and deliver on time to the correct quality standards.
• Be able to prepare CAD and 3D files from different sources and deliver to project requirements. For example CAD conversion to 3dsmax.
• Understand and follow all modelling production workflows and procedures, ensuring all data assets produced meet the required specification through quality checks.
• Have a good CGI generalist knowledge.
• Understand and follow all data processing production workflows and procedures, ensuring all data assets produced meet the required specification through quality checks.
• Consistently share knowledge at team meetings and share work you have produced to participate in the continual development of the CGI Studio and gain valuable feedback.
• Proactively develop your own technical skills and understanding, to contribute towards the overall efficiency and innovation of the CGI Studio.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

• Experience in preparing CAD data utilising customer provided product information.
• Strong understanding in CAD manipulation and data prep processes (A/B surface separation Tessellation File Structuring and toolsets (For example: Rhino3D / Deltagen / 3DS MAX / Maya).
• Strong working knowledge of the industry standard CAD software.
• Relevant degree or diploma in the CGI discipline, related to 2D/3D disciplines or proven experience in the industry.
• MS Office specifically Excel knowledge.
• The ability to manage and develop junior team members.
