Job Description

 
As a Deal Desk Manager, you will work cross-functionally with our Sales Operations, Finance, Legal and Customer Success teams to provide quoting and deal structuring support to the Global Sales Team. The Deal Desk Manager acts as a trusted advisor to the sales team, working as the primary point of contact amongst various departments throughout the customer buying journey.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of MindTickle s licensing and pricing models to provide deal structuring and quoting support to our global sales teams.
  • Work cross-functionally across various stakeholder groups including legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management.
  • Function as point of contact and subject matter expert for Sales on deal pricing matters.
  • Create sales enablement materials to train Sales on best practices for product pricing and positioning.
  • Drive adherence to internal controls, protocols, and business rules.
  • Ensure successful migration of all legacy contracts in Salesforce CPQ.
  • Liaise with the salesforce admin team to build new enhancements/features in the CPQ tool as per business requirements.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a deal desk, finance, contracts, sales operations, or revenue role; software/SaaS experience is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience of the quote to contract process in salesforce CPQ tool or an equivalent system.
  • A thorough understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills verbal and written.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and draft business terms and conditions.
  • Strong logic and analytical abilities.
  • Team management experience is a plus.
  • Flexible to work extended hours during peak periods.
  • Required to work EST and PST hours.
