Technical Consultant Java & RDBMS @ Promantia Business

Job Description

The person would be responsible for developing and maintaining / supporting systems developed with Java and relational database technologies ( generally Postgres and MySQL ) . The person who joins in this role, would be mentored on working on developing / maintaining transactional system and would develop skills around performance analysis and tuning of database queries, procedures as well .

Required Skills/Experience

We are looking for a Java developer with 1+ year experience with strong inclination towards database technologies.

Other essential capabilities

• Excellent understanding of programming concepts and ability to fluently program in Java.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL / MySQL or similar database technologies
• Good problem solving skills in investigating and resolving issues in application.
• Good communication skills
• A passion for meeting commitment and quality.
• Ability and attitude to learn and pick up new skills.

Other desired capabilities

• Comfortable working in the linux environments.
• Good knowledge of Postgre SQL & MySQL.
• Comfortable working with large datasets

Key responsibilities:

• Understand, plan, design, develop, resolve and deploy assigned work.
• Analyze and solve problems in deployment, test and production environments
