Sr Software Engineer - Noida - Microsoft - 4

As a software engineer, you will be an integral part of our tight-knit group of dedicated problem solvers. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly make an impact developing fullstack solutions and work with the larger Flipgrid team to deliver an innovative and meaningful learning experience to millions of students and educators.

• Deliver web experiences that are highly crafted and rewarding to the Flipgrid educator community by coordinating and developing back-and-front end solutions.
• Collaborate with web, design, and API teams to ensure the goals of the product are aligned with the delivered feature or service.
• Deliver experiences that are user-focused and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Work with the product development team in driving innovative approaches to solving complex problems.
• Maintain code standards regarding quality, privacy, accessibility, security, documentation, etc.

Qualifications

• A strong working knowledge of building and interfacing with REST APIs.
• 3+ years of Ruby or Rails experience with an emphasis on building, maintaining, and testing large-scale applications.
• 2+ years of experience delivering solutions leveraging Relational Databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• 3+ years of front-end web development experience (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Usability Testing).
• Experience using a modern Javascript Framework (React, Vue, Angular).
• 2+ years developing features and experiences for
• Demonstrated ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize for high performance user experiences.
