Job Description

  • Lead Architecture, Design and Development of application software for the optometric devices and software platforms of Vision Technology Solutions with high quality, re usable, high performance SW components .
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate into technical requirements, and guide the team create a software design and architecture that fulfills the requirements.
  • Takes Ownership of codingdevelopment for complex modules
  • Performs work product review (Document, Code review with coding guidelines), using the defined technologies and tools.
  • Drive and review unit and integration tests to secure the quality of the code.
  • Ensure team documents the development outcomes following the internal standard operating procedures and in accordance with the applicable international norms, e.g. IEC 62304.
  • Support product management and service teams in answering customer requests related to the software and solving customer issues.
  • Report project status to the project leader, in terms of quality, budget and timeline and Manages technical communication with stakeholders
  • Mentor the junior developers of the team on technical aspects
    • You are:
      • A strong experience in professional software development and corresponding tool chains IDEs, unit tests, Version Control, CI (continuous integration), CMAKE, etc
      • Sound experience in development using C++, C# in .NET environment, Webservices using RESTWebAPISOAP Knowledge in development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS and Database (SQL Server)
      • Experience agile development methods with translating Customer requirement into Features and user stories
      • Experience with project collaboration systems like MS TFS, Jira
      • Experience in the development of applications running under MS Windows Embedded OS
      • Experience in healthcare standards and regulations
      • Able to work in an international environment, good intercultural skills. Knowledge of European, especially German company culture is of advantage.
      • Proactive attitude to work, strong analytic skills, able to analyze complex topics and propose solutions.
      • Pronounced creative thinking, able to think out of the box, strong problem solving skills
