Design solutions based upon business requirements and user specification
Prepare technical solutions as well as review technical solutions
Deploy and support SharePoint applications and Nintex forms, workflows.
Ensure delivery of quality solutions
Incorporate best practices, design patterns/principles, and web standards into all aspects
of applications and support.
Work with 3rd party teams for project delivery
Guide/coach other team members in delivering the solution
Work with on-site team in completing the day to day development activities
Provide production support as and when required
Provide knowledge transition to other team members on need basis
Strive to be up-to-date in best practices, development methods and technologies
Document code consistently throughout the development and/or enhancement process
Maintain extensive documentation for all projects with relevant Viavi resources
Qualifications - External
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field
Experience in implementing or updating SharePoint applications in SharePoint online
using Power platform
Nice to have Knowledge of SP2010 and Nintex form, workflow development.
Min 3-4 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing SharePoint
applications
Experience in migration from other CMS tools. Out of which at least one year on Power
platform.
Project based experience designing, implementing, and testing portal customizations
Solid business process / requirements analysis and re-engineering, module set up and
configuration, documentation, ability to spec customizations and knowledge transfer
experience required
Solid working knowledge of software development life cycles.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, changing
environment are necessary
Understanding of all key ITIL processes is a plus
Ability to clearly communicate with team members on issues, status and design ideas
throughout the project
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business challenges and
determine final business requirements
Experience in identifying gaps and areas for process improvement, and acting to close
those gaps
Good written and verbal communication skills including ability to develop presentations
and present to management.
Experience with AGILE methodology is must.
Must have experience in analyzing complex system requirements, critical business
processes and information systems
Must have experience of translating business requirements into solutions, preparing technical
specifications, coding, testing, debugging and documenting software programs of varying
complexity following the predefined standards and best practice
