Roles and Responsibilities

The Role:

You'll be a part of our DevOps Platform team, spearheading our kick-ass CSX (Core Shopping
Experience) on the web & app. As a DevOps Engineer at Pratech, you'll play a role in a cross-functional
team that is hands-on, diagnosing complex issues on the various platforms, and playing a leading role in
software/platform/application architectural evolution, helping us maintain our rocketship momentum.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.
Managing production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
Strong Linux system administration background.
Strong knowledge of AWS
Good knowledge of GCP and/or Azure is a good-to-have
Experience in Kubernetes and container technologies
Experience in writing code and the automation, configuration, and application performance
management tools such as Ansible, NetBackup, VMWare, New Relic, and AppDynamics.
Strong system-level troubleshooting skills and an ability to identify and resolve high-level
scalability and performance issues.   You'll help the team in:

Build and maintain highly available production and development systems.
Improve CI/CD practices, starting with the Gitlab setup already in place
Implement and improve monitoring and alerting
Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing new technologies
Quick decisions around triaging and diving down into root-cause analysis
