Looking for Mechanical engineers with 6-10 Years of experience in Pipe Stress Analysis
- The Piping Stress Engineer has the technical and time schedule responsibility to perform stress analysis and prepare stress reports.
- Applicant should have knowledge of latest American and European standards and codes.
- Working knowledge of stress analysis tools like Caesar-II
- Ensure adequate flexibility in the piping system by suggesting / incorporating necessary changes in the piping layout
- Locate support points in the 3D model of the piping system
- Support selection to ensure proper working of the piping system
- Optimizing piping layout by integrating the functions of piping design, stress analysis and support design
- Estimate preliminary loads to release early the civil steel structures detail design
- React to any missing information
Roles Responsibilities:
- Responsible for issuing Piping Drawings for project specific applications.
- Review, Control and Own 3D Piping Models.
- Perform Pipe Stress Analysis and Pipe Support Calculations as required.
- Write Specifications as required.
- Review vendor drawings as required.
- Coordinating with various disciplines at all levels.
- Co-ordinate with Piping Fabricators and Piping Insulation Vendors.
- Knowledge in piping materials/Codes standard works
- Should able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Participate in project review meetings
