Roles and Responsibilities
Research and develop short form content for product pages across all categories (core task).
Work on optimising product descriptions to make them more informative and search friendly.
Conduct hygiene checks across the site, identify content gaps and errors, and update content where needed.
Coordinate with the brand management and catalogue teams to ensure that descriptions on up-to-date, accurate, complete and competitive.
Respond to product-, brand- and regime-centric queries from customers on product pages.
Write search engine optimised long form beauty articles (1000+ words) that cover beauty and wellness topics, brands, categories and concerns.
Essential requirements for this position:
Highly-refined writing and editing skills, including grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
Native-level proficiency in English.
Ability to manage multiple tasks by effectively scheduling and prioritising.
High degree of professional discipline, time management and organisational skills.
Ability to find new approaches to problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement of our process.
Beneficial skills and experience (good-to-haves):
Previous experience in the beauty industry or a deep interest in beauty products.
Previous experience with deadline driven work.
Some experience with SEO or keyword optimisation/placement.
Good research and fact checking skills.
Ability to work independently with low levels of supervision.
Prior copy editing experience is a huge plus.
Work experience:
BA graduate in English / Journalism / Mass Media or any other Arts related field.
1-2 years of content writing experience with a portfolio of work.
Keyskills: content writing feature articles reserch
