Principal Software Engineer - .Net @ Kronos Incorporated

Job Description

Description Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
. Develop, test, build and deploy coding solutions in an agile development environment.
. Ability to troubleshoot and perform root-cause-analysis for system-related issues in Enterprise level software.
. Manage the development life cycle through GIT and a formal CI/CD solution
. Communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet the team goals.
. Participate in design sessions and recommend solutions based on functional and business requirements.
. Participate in code review sessions held between other development team members.
. Attend daily stand-ups and team meetings.
. Can work independently with minimal guidance as well as in a team environment.
. Solve challenging engineering tasks on time and with high quality.
Required Qualifications:
. 7+ years of experiences in programming language such as C#, Java etc. and framework such as .NET framework, .NET core etc.
. 5+ years of experience in software testing in an object-oriented language such as C#, Java etc.
. 3+ years of experience in working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle etc.
. 3+ years of experience in writing SQL queries. Good understanding of SQL table relationships and relational DB model.
. Experience with Cloud Infrastructure such as GCP, Azure, AWS.
. Knowledge of Docker/ Containers / Kubernetes
. Understanding of source control technologies such as GIT, SVN etc.
. Self-motivated. Can take ownership of a task from analysis to completion.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills
. High degree of self-motivation to learn new methodologies that will enhance job performance.
. Ability to successfully work within a team and manage a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
. High degree of organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
. Working knowledge of DevOps methodology
. Experience using using TeamCity, Jenkins, or concourse CI.
. Proven experience with RabbitMQ and/or Apache Kafka.
. Proven experience MongoDB
