Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Developer, you will
- Maintain active relationships with Product Owner to understand business requirements, attend requirement gathering meetings and review business scenarios with the product owner
- Own the complete Development responsibility of the module/phase/set of requirements
- Lead technical discussions with the client for assigned work stream
- Creating Low level Design from HLD and in collaboration with architects
- Provide technical solutions to team and play active role in scrum meetings to help scrum master plan with priorities and dependencies
- Work with Project manager to plan, escalate challenges in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
- Be Responsible for code development, code review/static code analysis, unit testing with Junit, Sonarqube execution and fixes, code maintenance via tools and deployment to pipeline
- Collaborate with CICD and other support teams to enable delivery of application
- Participate in collaborative technical discussions that focus on software user experience, design, architecture, and development
- Perform demonstrations for client stakeholders on project features and sub features.
Desired Candidate Profile
Overall 5+ years of experience in software development with Java applications. Strong Java skill is a must have
- Two plus years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise solutions in Google Cloud
- Experience with cloud services such as DataFlow/DataProc, Cloud storage, BigTable, CloudSQL, BigQuery, IAM, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Stack driver monitoring
- Experience in designing and developing BigData pipelines using frameworks like Apache Beam/ Spark/Hadoop with Java programming skills as mandatory
- GCP Certification preferred
- Experience with SQL and Scripting (Python/Shell/Perl)
- Strong Junit skills and experience with Sonarqube, experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Use of code repository tools like GIT and collaboration tools such as Jira & Confluence
- Familiar with Interfaces such as REST web services, swagger profiles, JSON payloads.
- Should have handled large volumes of data and Data analysis
- Experience technically leading a team of 5 + developers
- Provide technical design or approach for business problems
- Strong knowledge of web service models
- Strong exposure in Agile, Scaled Agile models
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good team player and coordination skills
