Job Description
Expectations
- Hands-on Experience on AWS or Azure cloud services experience in both is addon both.
- Hands-on Experience in Docker and cloud-native container services.
- Hands-on Experience in infrastructure as code in tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, Azure ARM.
- Good knowledge in Linux servers & applications servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat) configuration, management and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge in Mysql, Postgres, MongoDB configuration, and query executions.
- Hands-on Experience in Gitlab, BitBucket versioning tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines implementation in AWS and/or Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins and/or Gitlaband / or BitBucket.
- Experience in Monitoring tools like Graylog / Kibana / Newrelic / Prometheus.
- Experience in closely working with the development team.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and scripting skills (Bash/Powershell/Python)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented individual
- Willingness to acquire the Architect-level certification on AWS and/or Azure is optional, certification within the first 6 months..
- Work from the office is mandatory as this job is an essential service.
- Candidates must be open to work in a 24X7X365 work environment.
- Candidates must be open to work in rotational shifts, NIght shift included.
- Able to quickly learn new and existing technologies
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- A desire to write tools and applications to automate work rather than do everything by hand
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point who is responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of our platform services.
- Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations to facilitate our rapid iteration and growth.
- Develop tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale environment.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure the platform is designed with operability in mind.
- Drive standardization efforts across multiple services Identify and lead efforts to improve automation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation function in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
Education & Experience
BCA/MCA, BTech, graduation, Diploma in IT or in Computer Science or equivalent (software development or production operations experience in a large-scale environment).
