We have an urgent opening for Assistant manager - Medical coding at Apexon Coimbatore.

Position

Assistant Manager - Medical coding

Job Description:

• Ensure adherence to external and internal quality and security standards (HIPPA / HITECH / ISO).
• Should work with any any specialty ( Ambulance or HCC added advantage )
• Timely intervention to improve quality..
• Proficient in preparing Day-to-Day report, Week end report, month end report, coding profile Report, Daily quality report, and monthly quality report.
• Manage the delivery of services and P&L
• Production planning monthly, weekly and daily queue management, movement of resource on need basis.
• Guide Operations on functional aspects of coding and endeavor to improve coding standards in the team and Manage high Customer Satisfaction Level
• Taking actions based on feedback from Clients satisfaction survey
• Reviewing the Trend on weekly basis and analyzing the reasons if there is any deviation
• Closely work with the billing team for clearing the edits and addressing the denial accounts
• Manage the overall performance management of the team

Job Specification:

• Should be a subject matter expert and have in-depth understanding of all functions of RCM (Medical Coding, Medical Billing and AR Calling) regard to US & UAE healthcare services.
• Medical coding certification through either AAPC or AHIMA: CPC/COC/CIC/CCS.
• Strong understanding of healthcare principles and concepts.
• Good at Process Documentation, creating SOPs & Process mapping.
• Strong Client interaction and Management Skills.
• Good Communication Skills, Analytical Skills and Interpersonal Skills
• Strong background in diagnosis coding.
