Key Skills Required

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin/Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Work experience

• Minimum of 2 years development experience with Android applications.

Required skills

• Minimum of 2 years development experience with Android applications.
• Strong knowledge in Kotlin, Java.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android NDK, JNI.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services and push notifications
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of UI/UX standards and other technologies.
• Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
• Experience with for benchmarking and optimization
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Contributed to at least several applications on the Google Play

Detailed Stack

• Working with UI
• RestAPI, asynchronous requests, GSON, Retrofit
• Java: AsyncTasks, Threads, JNI
• Kotlin: coroutines, threads, concurrency.
• Firebase, crash analyze, deep-links.
