Job Description
Developing internal tools to solve common operational problems.
Troubleshooting applications in development, staging, and QA
environments.
Writing automation using Ansible and Terraform to deploy infrastructure.
Solving application build issues.
Improving application build times.
Providing advanced technical support to the companys Software Engineers
to help them be productive in their development environments.
Containerizing applications and deploying them to Kubernetes.
Creating dashboards and alerts using Prometheus and Grafana.
Who you are:
3+ years professional combined work experience in DevOps, SRE, System
Administration, Software Engineering, or similar roles.
Must have experience using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Must have Docker and Kubernetes experience.
Must have experience using Ansible and Terraform.
Must have demonstrable programming abilities in one of the following
languages:
TypeScript
JavaScript
PHP
Python
Golang
Must have experience using and administering Jenkins.
Must have strong Bash scripting skills.
Knowledge of common Unix/Linux tools is essential.
You should be comfortable troubleshooting and debugging web applications
across the entire stack (i.e. the network layer, the application and
database layer, the OS, etc.).
MySQL experience is a plus, especially experience with query
optimization and replication.
Experience using Ansible or Terraform is a significant plus.
Prometheus, Alert Manager, and Grafana experience is a plus, too.
