Job Description
:To undertake critical review of the credit proposals logged in with a view to especially bringing out the industry, business, financial, management and facility structure risk contained in the credit proposal. The role needs to bring out the collateral and other credit risk mitigation to facilitate the approving authority to take decision on the credit proposal. The role is critical in enabling quick turnaround of credit lending proposals for the SME/SEG business comprising of Term Loan, Working Capital Finance, Lease Rent Discounting and Construction Finance business in close liaison with the sales team. The role also plays and important role in undertaking ongoing review of the credit exposures to ensure that the exposure continues to be bankable. The role is also responsible to, effectively monitor the client & collateral creditworthiness from the pre sanction to post disbursement phase & undertaking steps for risk mitigation, whenever required, while ensuring adherence to legal & documentation norms & policies
To approve proposals within approving authority & to recommend proposals to RCM, NRM, Credit Committee for decision on the case.
To manage Legal agencies, Technical agencies & verification agencies to facilitate the quick turnaround of credit lending proposals.
The key responsibilities include initial screening of the proposal, thorough preparation appraisal of credit proposals with the required due diligence; co-ordination with the sales team for resolution of credit and risk concerns, maintaining Turn Around Time (TAT); interfacing with the Sales team, External agencies (legal, Technical, verification) & Regional Credit Manager for faster decisions; Assist business functions and Regional Credit Manager for decision of the case.
