Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Work with the senior team to continually develop our devops capabilities
- Help migrate workloads from on-premises to cloud
- Deploy new workloads into the cloud
- Maintain all workloads and ensure smooth running of services
- Develop monitoring tools specific to the various workload needs
- Maintain/automate backups of servers and data
- Develop devops dashboards to facilitate managing of the growing workloads
- Write scripts to facilitate data migrations/exports and other tasks
- Manage and Update the CI processes (Jenkins)
- Work with the QA team to help deploy software releases
- Work with developers to setup test environment
Skills
- General linux sysadmin skills
- Familiarity with Cloud environments
- Experience with GCP would be an advantage
- Experience of scripting (perl/php/python/shell)
- Experience of performance tuning on systems
- Experience of Postgres databases an advantage
- Experience of CI tools (especially Jenkins) an advantage
- Experience of configuration management tools
