Lead Engineer: System Thermal Lead Engineer @ Qualcomm

The QCT target power/thermal team is focused on achieving industry leading power consumption on Qualcomms Processor chipsets. This team works on post silicon validation, system analysis, brining power optimization, thermal impact analysis and fine tunning system architecture to deliver industry best power and thermal SoC on different verticals like Smartphone, MBB, Auto EV, IoT, and AR/VR.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate(s) identified for this role will be responsible for:
1.Active engagement and participation in SoC power/thermal design
discussions
2.Use case identification for PSV (post silicon validations)
3.Identification, analysis, and triage of system level obstacles to optimize
power and thermal mitigation knobs.
4.Guide multi-function groups through the execution cycle in achieving the
set power targets.
5.Evaluate power features and work with a wide set of teams across the
company (systems, software, hardware, etc.) in the productization.
6.Feedback learnings and design improvement ideas to SoC platform teams for future enhancements.
