Sr Engineer II, SW - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Harman Connected

Job Description

• Working knowledge of Experience in SW Integration Tasks in distributed development scenario
• Good understanding in Linux, Android build systems and adding Makefiles , Cmake
• Yocto builds Yocto build framework, bitbake , Yocto build system optimization
• Creating Yocto recipes and meta layers from scratch
• Good understanding of code repositories (GIT, Gerrit, Stash, Perforce)
• Familiar with Branching, merging, rebasing concepts
• Hands-on experience with build, patching, releases in Linux/Android environment
• Working knowledge of Experience in SW Integration Tasks in build Automated scenario
• Jenkins/Artifactory for continuous integration and delivery
• scripting language (Perl/Batch/Shell/Python)
• Dash boards (Nagios, Nodejs)
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ in embedded development/debugging
• Basic knowledge of Embedded boards flashing & testing basic functions
• Working knowledge of software development processes
• Working knowledge of embedded operating systems and software development processes

• Bachelor s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 4-6 years of experience in Automotive
• Infotainment/embedded software Integration.
• 4-6 years of experience in Linux, Android build and Yocto , Makefiles creation
• Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded, environment.
