As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated functional, integration and load tests for web applications that ensure the quality of developed product features.
What you will do:
- Participating actively in agile development rhythms (scrum, kanban etc)
- Performing some level of manual testing when required
- Co-coordinating test team members and development team in order to resolve the issues
- Running and performing regular automation tests and debugging/ fixing possible issues
- Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practises and processes
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests
Desired Candidate Profile
What you need to have:- 4+ years of full time work experience after completing an undergraduate degree
- Experience in unit testing, acceptance testing, integration testing, system/end-to-end testing for Web applications/ REST services
- Commitment to accomplishing work in an ethical, compliant, and efficient manner for the benefit of your clients and the company
- A thoughtful process of analysing data and problem solving to reach well-reasoned solutions
- Strong collaboration, communication, and creative thinking skills
