Roles and Responsibilities
Plays a key role in the planning, testing, and implementation of initiatives and product enhancements and conversions. Work with a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems Utilize programming languages such as .net open source frameworks, RESTful/SOAP web services, backend DB such as SQL/No SQL, windows services /schedulers, third party integration soap/rest validation and work on crossbrowser and cross-device development Identify and understand the business problem and the impact of the proposed solution on the organizations stakeholders and operations & reporting. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to summarize complex findings. Drive the day-to-day research and reconciliation of payments activity, as required. Take ownership of issues, investigate, conduct root-cause-analysis and resolve payments issues by collaborating with third party payment providers, internal partners and the technology team. Document and implement payment standards and process updates. Communicate with stakeholders as appropriate. Knowledge of accounts reconciliation and control processes, payments processing (Credit-card, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay), settlement, back-office functions, ability to collaborate with third party vendors and different business partners. Accountable to meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Solid interpersonal skills, team player with the ability to effectively work with others including peers, stakeholders (Product, Operations, Risk, IT, Regulatory, Finance & Treasury), end users and vendors with prior experience in data retrieval, analysis & problem solving. Required tolerance of ambiguity, be able to work in a dynamic/changing environment. Past experience as a software developer and 2+ years of experience in project/ program management, is a plus. 5 years+ of experience, having worked on complex assignments, payments operations or customer service for Financial Institutions, payment processors, FinTechs or networks globally Previous work experience related to e-commerce, online payments (global or local)
