Senior Test Automation Engineer @ Whatfix

Job Description
Whatfix is looking for a passionate QA (Automation-Selenium) engineer who will be completely responsible for ""quality"" of our platform that is being used by hundreds of customers all over the world. You will be our product specialist and the go-to person for any product learning.

What will you do?

1. Work with Product Managers and review the specs written for completeness and testability
2.Design and author test cases based on the functional specs
3. Work with development team to understand the underlying technology to improve the authored test cases
4. Execute the test cases and ensure that the product is adhering to the functional specs authored.
5. Perform initial debugging for all customer reported issues and identify patterns emerging out of them
6. Maintain regression, functional, performance, experience test cases and keep them up to date
7. Design and develop a reliable, scalable and maintainable test automation framework using open source tools from the ground up

What should you have?

1. Must have Experienced in building automation framework with Selenium (or) TestNG from the scratch
2. Passion for keeping the product quality high
3. Curiosity and desire to dive deep into the product; learn inside out; and teach the product to others
4. 5+ years of demonstrated experience in QA (Automation) role for complex web applications
5. Good problem-solving skills.

UG:   B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization

PG:  Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization

Doctorate:  Doctorate Not Required
