Job Description

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure support with minimum 3 years of experience in AWS platform support.
• Be a trusted advisor for cloud initiatives, providing practical and achievable solutions/ ideas, as per customer needs.
• Identify and resolve virtual and physical infrastructure issues which impact the functionality of the application and hosting platform.
• Experience working with IAM, Active Directory, NAS, NFS, Storage, Backups, Database, firewalls, and Load balancing.
• Experience in O/S (Windows/Linux), configuration, installation and maintenance are required.
• Experience in implementing ACL's, Route table Security Groups, AWS API, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, CloudTrail, KMS and CloudFormation
• Maintain S3 bucket policies, involve in copying files from source systems to S3 buckets
• Restore EC2 instances from AMI
• Assign IAM Roles and Policies to Users, Security Groups by using Identity and Access Management
• Perform Operational maintenance activities which include platform upgrades, patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of implementing EBS, EFS, S3, Glacier and Retention policies.
• Manage manual/automated backups and create snapshots of RDS where-ever is required
• Restore RDS database from backups and snapshots created
• Working with EBS volumes and snapshots
• Monitor cloud watch notification and respond to the alarms within committed SLA time
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn new service offerings from AWS and map them to customer requirements
• Experience with tools for assessment and migrations
• Ability to work with distributed international teams in different time zones if required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to hit the ground running and drive for result
• Should be a team player, able to own issues and work with cross functional teams in problem solving.
