Job Description

Application Support Engineer II (.NET, C/C++)

Skill Set Requirement:

  • The candidate should have minimal of 4-6 years of L2 support experience and exposure to Application support / Maintenance in .Net and C++
  • Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification
  • Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP protocol
  • .NET Application support knowledge Basic Programming languages (like C++/C#/Java), Scripting language (Java Script/VB Script/Power Shell and etc.), Visual Studio, MS Windows Server, SQL server, ASP.Net, IIS, Web Services, Team Foundation Server VB.NET
  • Basics of .Net Cloud Computing (Azure)

    • Roles and Responsibility:

  • Should be flexible to work in US shift hours and 24 x 7
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Reproduce technical problems, diagnose causes, identify temporary and long-term solutions and communicate status updates to clients.
  • Should have good Communication Skills
  • Candidate shall be familiar with ITIL process.
  • Experience in Finance domain would be added advantage
  • Generation of Knowledge based Article
  • Knowledge of Analyzing ticket on periodic intervals providing action items for improvement
  • Working out improvements strategies with customer based on their working, process followed, environment used, etc.
  • Identification of Knowledge gap suggesting training to users
