Job Description
ECCDigital Security is seeking a cloud security architect bringing enterprise-scalethinking and hands-on cloud knowledge to architect security solutions for Fidelity smulti-cloud environment. Furthermore,the role will evangelize strong security practice / culture across thedevelopment community, educating others on security policies, best practices,approved design patterns, and practical tools to ensure our cloud applicationsand environments are safe.
The Expertise We re Looking For
- 16 years of overall IT experience
- 5 years of experience in security architecture, design,risk assessment and security design review. Must have strong technical knowledge in security controls includingIdentity and Access Management (IAM), Data Protection including encryption andkey management, networking and firewall security, application security,database security, API security, logging and monitoring.
- Experience with governance and security procedures and an understanding ofhow security controls preventive, detective and others - reduce risk. Experience working with Audit and Complianceteams is a plus.
- 2 years of hands-onexperience building applications in public clouds, particularly AWS and Azure.
- 5 years of recent experiencein programming using modern software languages and automated CICD tools.
- Exposureto Agile development methodology is required
- Engineering graduate in any discipline
Your workin Digital Security furthers the organization s mission to protect Fidelitydata and applications in the cloud. Youwill be a Cloud Security Architect, consulting to enterprise IT security teamsand business unit application teams on how to design and implement security bestpractices in AWS and Azure cloud environments. You will define architecture patterns, work with Cloud Security teams todevelop cloud-native and 3 rd -party controls, work with applicationteams to implement and test these controls for scalability and immutability andwork with pen test teams to validate the security strength of theseprotections.

- Excellent hands-onexperience of programming and secure application development
- Excellent knowledgeof security architecture and engineering
- Youdemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of identityand access management, data protection and key management, databasetechnologies, networking and firewall security in AWS and/or Azure
- Sound judgment to assess and prioritize risks and issuescarefully
- Yourability to understand technical concepts and be able to succinctly convey topartners
- You analyze requirements, processes and solve business problems; work through ambiguous situations
- Strong written and oral communication skills, both with customers, technical team members, and other technical contributors across the organization
- Understanding of the agile software development methodologies
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Ability to quickly learn, adapt and strive to meet the needs of a fast paced, changing environment
- Ability to multi-task effectively

- Develop andimplement cloud security architecture patterns that meet industry and Fidelityinformation security policies and standards
- Review technicaldesigns, application architectures, data architectures to ensure they meet securityrequirements
- Participate in the evaluation of service provider and vendorproducts for securing cloud-based applications and data sets.
- Act as a subject matter expert, answering questions, and assistingteams in creating compliant, creative solutions
- Support information security efficiency and quality byparticipating in cross entity councils and discussion
